The medical mask sample is supported on the test device. A certain volume of synthetic blood is sprayed on the mask sample horizontally, simulating the scene where the mask is splashed by blood from a perforated blood vessel. In the test method, the liquid volume, spray distance, nozzle diameter and spray speed are determined to keep them consistent with the medical activity process.
If there is penetration of synthetic blood on the side where the mask is in contact with the wearer's face, the mask is unqualified. The result is recorded as "Pass/Fail".
The medical mask samples were tested with the liquid ejection velocity corresponding to blood pressure 10.6 kP, 16.0 kPa and 21.3 kPa (ie 80mmHg, 120mmHg, 160mmHg). Record the test results of each jet velocity, and give the maximum blood pressure corresponding to the acceptable quality level limit of 4 for medical masks.
1. Test device: It has a sample fixing device, a liquid container, a pressure control valve and a valve controller, which can fix the medical mask sample and distribute the synthetic blood in the target area of the sample. The valve controller can inject a certain volume of synthetic blood within a controlled time.
The sample holder has a convex shape. Unfold and fix the sample at a distance of 300 mm from the ejection port. The metal clip or plastic buckle fixes the sample on the sample fixing device, leaving the test target area and not damaging the sample.
