The main purpose
It is suitable for measuring the burning performance of plastics with hot rods. The method is to use a hot rod with a diameter of 8mm and a temperature of 960℃ as the ignition source, make it contact the end surface of the sample for 3 minutes, and then turn the hot rod away from the sample, starting when the hot rod is in contact with the sample. Observe and record the combustion behavior of the sample, and judge the combustion performance of the sample according to its combustion status. It can be used by plastic industry, inspection department and scientific research unit.
Technical index
1. Silicon carbide rod diameter: 8mm, temperature: (950±10)℃
2. Sample size: length 125mm, width 10mm, thickness 4mm
3. Contact time between silicon carbide rod and sample: 3min
