The main purpose
The instrument is used to test the flame retardant properties of wheelchair seat (back) cushion materials for cigarettes and matches.
Laboratory overall plan
1. The test frame should be placed in a fume hood (provided by the user), and the control box is outside the fume hood. During the experiment, the experimenter operates the control box, and the test frame is subjected to a combustion test in a closed environment in the fume hood. The fume hood is connected with the ventilation duct of the laboratory to exhaust smoke.
 The ventilation system of the fume hood controls the air velocity in the test space so that the air velocity on the surface of the test frame is between 0.02 and 0.2m/s, and the air velocity can be adjusted and controlled.
(Note: The igniter is a hand-held ignition operation. The observation window of the fume hood is opened within 20s of ignition time for ignition operation; after ignition is completed, close the observation window, and the combustion is carried out in a closed environment to observe the state of the experiment. The wind speed should be maintained at the required rate throughout the process In the range.)
2. Constant temperature water bath:
  1) Heating by heating tube.
  2) The test chamber is equipped with heating device, refrigerating device and circulating water pump to ensure that the constant temperature water bath is even at 20°C, and the control accuracy is: ±2°C.
  3) PID temperature control adjustment. Temperature setting and measurement: digital display.
  4) The water tank is equipped with a closed circulation device, which can stir evenly.
  5) The box has the function of up and down.
  6) The cabinet material is all stainless steel design, which has corrosion resistance and long service life. Insulation materials are added to the test area, and the insulation effect is good. Lay copper pipes in the water bath.
  7) The cabinet is equipped with power overload and short circuit protection.
  8) Power supply: 220V 50Hz.

1. Stainless steel combustion tube size: outer diameter (8±0.1) mm, inner diameter (6.5±0.1) mm, length (200±5) mm.
2. The equipment parameters are in full compliance with GB/T 18029-2000 and ISO7176-16: 1997 requirements. In addition, a fixture strip for fixing small samples is installed.

5. The flow rate of the gas flow meter at 20°C is: (45±2) mL/min, the flow meter can be detached for easy calibration, and the gas outlet pressure can be adjusted.
6. The fuel gas is propane, and the gas tank and gas are prepared by the user.
7. Ignition time, progressive smoldering and flame burning time are automatically recorded and digitally displayed.
8. Airflow control system: The flow rate of combustible gas flowing to the ignition source of the gas flame and the pressure of the air outlet are adjustable.
9. There is a gas leakage alarm device inside the instrument.
10. Constant temperature water bath, with air inlets and outlets connected to the external air pipes. The inside is a coiled copper pipe. The temperature can be set and adjusted. The air outlet is equipped with a temperature calibration device. The length of the hose connecting the flowmeter and the combustion tube is 2.0~ 3m, inner diameter (7±1) mm. The temperature of the constant temperature water bath is controlled at (20±2)℃.
11. The laboratory temperature requires a balance of (20±2)℃.
12. The equipment is equipped with a collecting tray for burning drips, which is easy to clean.
13. The user prepares masks, goggles, work clothes, etc.
