The main purpose
Under laboratory conditions, this instrument is suitable for determining the electrostatic properties of fibers, yarns, fabrics, carpets, decorative fabrics and other fabrics or various sheet-like products. The instrument host consists of a corona discharge device and a probe detector. Using a given high-voltage electric field, the fabric is discharged for a fixed time to induce static electricity in the fabric, so as to detect the amount of static electricity, the half-life of static voltage decay, and the residual amount of static electricity to display the electrostatic performance of the tested fabric.
Instrument characteristics
Whether the fabric is seriously charged or not is determined on the one hand by the level of static voltage after high voltage discharge, and on the other hand by the retention time of this static voltage. The electrostatic escape rate on the fabric is expressed by the electrostatic half-life, which is an important evaluation index for testing the electrostatic performance of the fabric.
The instrument consists of two parts: the main engine and the automatic control box, which can be tested by the timing method and the constant pressure method respectively. The instrument uses a digital voltmeter to directly display the instantaneous peak value and half-life value of the fabric during high-voltage discharge. Automatic shutdown of high voltage, automatic shutdown of the motor, easy to operate.
