Main uses
Used to test the radiation thermal resistance and radiation thermal performance of single-layer and multi-layer fabrics under continuous and constant radiation heat sources. Quantitatively evaluate the radiation thermal protection performance of clothing materials through a test with controllable radiation heat flow rate and radiation duration.
Technical indicators and performance parameters
1. The basic components of the instrument include: a vertically placed radiation heat source, a sample clamping component, a pneumatic water-cooled plate, a heat sensor, and a data acquisition/burn analysis system.
2. The radiation heat source of the instrument is an infrared quartz lamp, with a luminous length of 127mm and an average total length of 222mm. The input power can be controlled.
3. The voltage meter accuracy of the instrument is ± 1V.
4. The sensor of the instrument is a circular copper plate heat flux meter with a diameter of 4 ± 0.05cm. The temperature measurement range is from 0 ℃ to 1600 ℃, with an accuracy of ± 0.5 ℃.
5. The instrument can provide at least 2 radiation heat exposure conditions, namely 21 kW/m2 and 84 kW/m2, with an accuracy of ± 2%. And can monitor the readings of the voltmeter to control the level of heat exposure during the testing process.
6. The instrument is equipped with a data acquisition/burn analysis system that can record the temperature response of the calorimeter, calculate the accumulated radiation heat exposure value of the sample, and determine the end time of the experiment by comparing the accumulated heat energy with the experimental performance curve over time. The thermal protection characteristics of flame-retardant textile materials exposed to standard radiation heat can be measured relative to the predicted second degree skin burn.
7. The data acquisition component of the instrument has a minimum sampling rate of 4 samples per second at 250 ° C, and a minimum temperature resolution of 0.1 ° C with an accuracy of ± 0.75 ° C. Capable of correcting cold junctions and converting millivolt thermocouple signals into temperature.
8. The instrument uses a 12 bit high-speed A/D to sample the sensor, with high sampling accuracy and fast speed.
