1 device
1.1 Cylindrical tube
The minimum diameter is 60 mm, and it is long enough to hold the glove on top and can hold 1000 mL of water. The cylinder is preferably transparent.
1.2 Water filling device
It can keep the gloves upright when filled with water.
1.3 Cylindrical measuring cup
Other devices that have a volume of at least 1000 mL or can transfer 1000 mL of water at a time.
2 steps
Use a suitable device, such as an O-ring, to tie the gloves to the cylinder so that the gloves do not exceed the cylinder by 40 mm.
Introduce 1000 mL ± 50 mL of water with a temperature not exceeding 36°C into the device, and wipe off any splashed water on the gloves. If the water cannot rise to 40 mm from the cuff, raise the glove to ensure that the entire glove (including the part 40 mm from the cuff) is tested. Pay attention to any obvious leaks immediately. If there is no immediate leakage, observe for another 2min~4min. Ignore leakage within 40mm from the cuff. To facilitate observation, water can be dyed with water-soluble dyes.
