On October 29, 2020, the 2020 annual meeting of the China National Textile and Apparel Council's group standards work was held in Enshi, Hubei. Li Lingshen, Vice President of China Textile Industry Federation, Director of China Textile Federation Standards Committee, Peng Yanli, Deputy Secretary-General of China Textile Federation, Director of Science and Technology Development Department, Deputy Director of China Textile Federation Standards Committee, Deputy Director of China Textile Federation Standards Committee, Fu Guangwei, Chairman of the China Textile Engineering Society, Zhang Deliang, Deputy Leader of the Expert Advisory Committee of the China Textile Federation, and Vice President of the Shanghai Textile Science Research Institute, Sun Ximin, Secretary-General of the China Textile Federation Standards Committee and Deputy Director of the China Textile Federation Science and Technology Development Department, China Wang Guojian, Deputy Secretary-General of the Textile Federation Standards Committee, Deputy Director of the Standards Division of the China Textile Federation Science and Technology Development Department, Representatives of the Deputy Chairman of the China Textile Federation Standardization Technical Committee, Experts of the Expert Advisory Committee of the China Textile Federation Standardization Technical Committee, and Member of the Standardization Technical Committee More than 180 people including representatives of standard drafting units attended the meeting.

    This annual meeting summarized the group standardization work of the previous year, commended advanced units and advanced individuals that performed outstandingly in group standardization work in 2020, and assessed and supplemented registered individual members according to the charter. After the annual meeting, 5 special reports were held, and 12 CNTAC group standards including the national standards of "General Technical Requirements for Textiles Based on Consumer Experience" and "Medical-grade Cotton Towel Products for Pregnant and Infant Use" were reviewed and approved. Among them, the "Test Method for Heat Resistance of Thermal Protective Fabrics" and "Charge Attenuation Method for Electrostatic Performance Test of Protective Clothing" drafted by Shandong Textile Research Institute have passed the approval of experts. We will continue to modify and improve the application for approval based on expert opinions.
