The main purpose
It is used to determine the impact performance of protective clothing against high temperature metal droplets and the high temperature protection performance of textiles.
Technical index
1. Device for producing metal droplets:
(1) One end of the metal wire (rod) is melted by the oxyacetylene welding torch, and the diameter of the welding nozzle is (1.2±0.1) mm; (2) The movement of the wire (rod) is regulated by the motor along the wheel system, and the wire feeding rate of the motor is (10± 1) g/min; (3) The center line of the welding tip is perpendicular to the wire (rod), and the distance d between the tip of the welding tip and the metal (rod) is adjustable, usually 12mm; (4) Droplet quality (0.50±0.05) g; (5) The frequency of producing droplets is 20 drops/(min±3s); (6) The initial distance from the wire to the welding torch nozzle is 12mm; (7) The dark blue flame core length of the welding torch is 8mm;
2. Droplet guide mechanism
(1) Guide groove device: the angle of the guide axis and the vertical plane can be adjusted, the diameter can pass through a metal strip with a diameter of (8±0.2) mm, and the guide groove can be covered when not in use; (2) Bracket: support and fixed guide Slot, three-dimensional adjustable.
3. Temperature measurement sensor system
(1) Sensor support: refractory insulating material, thermal conductivity of (0.125±0.015) W/(mK) at 40℃, specific heat capacity of 1.15J/(gK), and surface groove size of (13.5×11) mm; (2) Temperature measurement sensor: armored platinum resistance material, coated with high-temperature anti-sticking agent, resistance 100Ω at 0℃, plate shape, size (12.5×10) mm, thermal response time ≤0.5s; (3) Recording display instrument : It can display the temperature rise behind the sample and the corresponding values of the number of drops, time, frequency, etc.; the test temperature in the guide groove>250℃; the temperature rise on the back of the sample>40K, and an alarm will be given when the temperature rise reaches 40K; (4) Accuracy: Resolution ≤±0.5K, temperature display and alarm function test error ≤±0.4K; (4) Structure and installation: The temperature sensor can be connected by two wires near the center of the groove, and the sensor support is fixed by four-sided bolts On the sample frame. The sensor is embedded in the groove of the sensor support with heat-resistant adhesive, and the protruding part is (0.5±0.2) mm.
4. Sample frame
(1) The sample holding support can ensure that the sample is tightly attached to the sensor support block; (2) (175±5) g pretension is applied to the sample; (3) The position of the sample can be adjusted in both vertical and horizontal directions .
5. The instrument is equipped with a dedicated computer for the instrument, Windows operating system, program operation interface, automatic data recording, data analysis and processing.
6. Oxygen and acetylene gas must be prepared by the user or purchased locally.
